Licensed blueline buses to ply after deadline of Jan 31: HC
New Delhi, Jan 31 (PTI) The Delhi High Court today saidblueline buses may ply even after January 31, the deadline setby the city government for their phase-out from the roadshere, if they possess valid licenses.
The blueline buses, which have valid licenses to plybeyond January 31, cannot be asked to go off from the roads, adivision bench headed by Justice A K Sikri said.
The bench, which had reserved its judgement on thecity government''s plea not to permit the blueline buses tocome back on the roads, however, made it clear to theoperators that the order allowing the vehicles to ply would besubject to its verdict on the petition. (more) PTI SJK
