Woman commits suicide in East Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 30 (PTI) A 19-year-old married womanallegedly committed suicide at her East Delhi residence thisevening.

The victim identified as Asma was found hanging fromceiling at her house in Old Seemapuri area at around 6 pm,police said.

She was rushed to nearby hospital where she was declaredbrought dead, they said.

Asma was married to Shakeel, a tailor, two years ago. Nosuicide note was recovered from the victim, the police said.

The post mortem report was awaited in the case, theysaid, adding an inquiry by SDM had been ordered into theincident.
