Saquib Nachan, key accused in Mulund blast case, gets bail

Mumbai, Jan 31 (PTI) The special POTA court here todaygranted bail to Saquib Nachan, a key accused in 2003 Mulundtrain blast case.

Altogether 11 persons were killed when a powerfulexplosion ripped through a compartment of a local train atMulund railway station in Mumbai on March 13, 2003.

Court is trying three cases together: Mulund blast case,Vile Parle blast case, and Mumbai Central blast case, aspolice contend that three explosions were a part of the sameconspiracy.

Sixteen persons have been arrested in connection with theconspiracy, under Prevention of Terrorism Act.
