Pilani coldest in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Jan 31 (PTI) Cold wave swept across Rajasthanwhere Pilani recorded the lowest temperature of 5.8 degreecelsius, followed by Churu at 6.2 deg C overnight, the Metdepartment said here today.

Sriganganagar recorded low of 7.4 deg C, followed byJaisalmer (7.9) and Sikar (9).

Jaipur recorded a minimum of 9.8 deg C.

The minimum temperature in Barmer was 10.5 deg C,followed by Kota and Ajmer at 11.9 deg C and 12.2 deg C each.

Mercury is likely to rise slightly in the stateduring next 24 hours, the department said.
