Nitish declines Columbia B-school invite citing budget session
Patna, Jan 30 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumartoday said he will not be able to visit New York to lecture atColumbia Business School on April 1 as the dates clash withthe forthcoming budget session of the state legislature.
He was invited by the top B-school to address their7th India Business Conference themed - ''India: an honestconversation''.
Kumar, however, thanked the institute for the invite.
"It is a matter of pride for the people that theirchief minister has been invited by a reputed US-baseduniversity for giving a lecture there," he told reporters.
The invitation proved that Bihar was being talkedabout in the country and the world for which the peopledeserves all the credit, Kumar said.
