Naveen stresses on timely, inexpensive justice to poor
Cuttack, Jan 30 (PTI) Expressing concern over thepending of a large number of cases, Orissa Chief MinisterNaveen Patnaik today stressed for the need of evolvingmechanisms to ensure timely and inexpensive justice.
"In our anxiety for quick justice, the quality orefficiency in adjudication and justice delivery should neverbe sacrificed," Patnaik said during the East Zone RegionalJudicial Conference organised by the National JudicialAcademy.
An increase in number of cases in courts and theirdisposal have been standing on the way of quality ofadjudication, he said.
The CM, however, maintained that the legislature andjudiciary are making best efforts to sort out this problem andhoped that all stakeholders must be involved in the process toaddress the issue.
