12hrs gone; fire yet to be controlled in warship

INS Vindhyagiri, the naval ship collided with the merchant vessel at Mumbai Harbour on Sunday (Jan 30) evening. Eight fire engines and Navy have been trying to control the fire from the morning on Jan 31.
The family members of Navy personnel were celebrating the 'Day at Sea' when the coalition took place. Though no news of casualties and oil spill have been reported yet.
According to an official, INS Vidhyagiri was returning to the dockyard while the merchant vessel was leaving Mumbai harbour when the two collided.
Sources informed that possibilities of saving the warship seemed bleak.
