Human skeleton recovered in Kadapa

Kadapa(AP), Jan 30 (PTI) A human skeleton, believed to bethat of a student, was today found on the premises of an underconstruction building of Yogi Vemana University here, policesaid.

According to Pendalimari Police, the skeleton was foundat the under-construction building of Administrative Block ofthe varsity in Kadapa town and the body is believed to be thatof one P Venkat Rao (22), a first-year student of the YogiVemana University.

The student, who hailed from Udaygiri in Nellore districtwent missing in November last year and police strongly suspectthat he might have committed suicide as some sleeping pillsand a pesticide bottle were found beside the skeleton.

The skull and bones were sent to the Forensic Laboratoryand further investigations are underway.
