Gehlot inaugurates cardio centre at MM Hospital in Jodhpur

Jodhpur, Jan 30 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister AshokGehlot today inaugurated the newly constructed Cardio ThoracicCentre at the Medanta Medicity Hospital.

Gehlot, in his address, reiterated his determination forenhancement in the medical and health facilities in the state.

He said that commencement of the bypass surgery is amajor achievement towards this dream, which will do away withthe compulsion of the people of this part of the state to goto other destinations for this taxing and expensive surgery.

Gehlot asked doctors to serve in villages and urgedprivate hospitals to offer services on ''No Loss No Profit''basis.

The cardiac centre has been set up at the cost of Rs 8.96crores and took three years to be completed.
