JKSRTC realises revenue of Rs 37.68 crore
Jammu, Jan 30 (PTI) The Jammu and Kashmir State RoadTransport Corporation has realised a revenue of Rs 37.68 croreduring the first nine months of the current fiscal,registering an increase of Rs 13.55 crore over thecorresponding period of last financial year.
This was informed at a meeting held to review thequarterly performance of the corporation under thechairmanship of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution andTransport Minister Qamar Ali Akhoon.
It was also informed that the corporation has earnedmore than double the revenue during single month of December2010, amounting to Rs 4.78 crore against Rs 2.23 crore duringDecember last year.
The Minister also lauded the corporation for fetchinga remuneration of Rs 1.84 crore on account of auctioning ofold condemned fleet in Srinagar and Jammu.
