Unidentified person killed in BSF firing on Indo-Pak border

Jammu, Jan 21 (PTI) One unidentified person was todaykilled when BSF opened fire after observing suspiciousmovement along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu district, a BSFspokesman said.

BSF noticed suspicious movement along the border inChak Pagwari Border belt in Akhnoor sector of Jammu districtaround 0400 hours this morning, he said, adding securityforces in an attempt to thwart any kind of intrusion openedfire.

One person was killed in the firing and his identityis yet to be known, he said, adding that it was not knownimmediately whether he was an infiltrator or not.
