Six arrested in bank loot case, Rs. 1.35 lakh recovered
Nawada(Bihar), Jan 21 (PTI) Police claimed to have solveda bank loot case by arresting seven miscreants and recoveredRs 1.35 lakh from them during a raid in Mahi village in Nawadadistrict, a police official said today.
A police team led by the ASP Satyavir Singh raided ahouse in Mahi village last night and arrested six miscreantsand recovered Rs 1.35 lakh out of Rs seven lakh looted fromthe Union Bank of India''s Warsaliganj branch on September 27,2010, the Superintendent of Police (SP) G P Sinha said.
Four other miscreants managed to flee, he said, addingthat raids were being carried out to arrest them.
The cops also seized two mobile phones, four livecartridges and the vehicle used in the bank heist case, hesaid.
