Rupam Pathak''s PMCH plea rejected
Purnia (Bihar), Jan 19 (PTI) A local court todayrejected the petition of Rupam Pathak, accused of stabbing MLARaj Kishore Keshari to death, that she be sent to PatnaMedical College and Hospital (PMCH) for better treatment.
Chief Judicial magistrate D L Prasad rejected theappeal of Pathak''s lawyer Hemant Kumar after going through themedical reports of medical board constituted by the districtadministration.
Purnia District civil surgeon Dr Ram Charitra Mandalin his report submitted to the court had stated that themedical board examined Rupam Pathak in jail and found her hailand hearty and there was no need to transfer her to PMCH.
Rupam Pathak was accused of stabbing the Purnia BJPMLA Raj Kishore Keshari to death on January 4 at his residenceafter she was allegedly sexually abused by the legislator andhis associate Bipin Rai.
