Girl believed to be killed returns safely to her house

Ghaziabad, Jan 18 (PTI) A girl, who was believed to havebeen killed by some unidentified persons and cremated by herfamily, has returned safely to her house, police said today.

23-year-old Sadhna went missing from a bus stand sinceJanuary 14 and was suspected to be killed by some unidentifiedpersons, they said.

A body was recovered from Vijay Nagar area on Sundaywhich was identified as that of Sadhna by her family members.

A case was registered against two persons identified asRajiv and Jaipal by Sadhna''s father, Prembir Singh forkidnapping and killing his daughter, police said.

The body of the girl was handed over to the family andcremated on Sunday evening but Sadhna returned safely to herhouse yesterday, they said.

An inquiry has been ordered to probe the entire episodeand identify the deceased, police said.
