Gadkari''s SMS jokes on price rise
Bhubaneswar, Jan 17 (PTI) BJP president Nitin Gadkaritoday provided some lighter moments at a rally when he sharedwith the audience SMS jokes on spiralling prices, an issueover which the main Opposition is going hammer and tongsagainst the government.
Addressing the rally here, Gadkari said he received anSMS on a conversation between two college girls. One of thegirls point to a well-dressed young man and says he must bevery rich.
"The other girl asked why? Reply: His mouth smells ofonion," Gadkari said to peels of laughter from the audience.
Another SMS was on a father worried over the heightof his daughter.
The doctor suggested that the father take his daughterto Prime Minister Manmohan Singh which he did, Gadkari said.
The prime minister, thereupon, advised the father tochange name of his daughter to ''mahangai''.
