Ceremonial march past to mark Desh Prem Divas in Bengal
Kolkata, Jan 18 (PTI) There will be a ceremonialmarchpast past on January 23, Netaji''s birthday, to beobserved as ''Desh Prem Divas'' in West Bengal.
Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee will garlandthe statue of Netaji near Raj Bhavan on the day.
The chief minister yesterday in a letter to PrimeMinister Manmohan Singh urged him to declare Netaji''s birthdayas ''Desh Prem Divas'', as has been done by the stategovernment.
A high-level meeting was held in the state secretariatat which Finance Minister Asim Dasgupta, AgriculturalMarketing Minister Mortaza Hossain and PWD Minister KshitiGoswami were present to chalk out programmess for the day.
