Youth killed by friends; two arrested

New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) A 20-year-old youth was murderedin outer Delhi allegedly by his two friends fearing that hewill spill the beans on their plans to commit crime, policesaid today.

Dharam (21) and Dinesh (21) were arrested for allegedlykilling Satish two days ago in Sultanpuri, Chhaya Sharma,Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer), said.

"The duo took Satish from his house on the pretext ofgoing to a de-addiction centre. However, they consumed alcoholand asked Satish to accompany them to commit crime to earnsome money.

"Satish did not agree and told them that if they dosomething like that he would tell people. Fearing arrest,Dharma caught Satish and Dinesh stabbed him," she said.

Investigators got a lead after they spoke to the victim''smother who said her son had gone out with Dharam and Dinesh toa de-addiction centre in Kirari.

Dharam and Dinesh are habitual drinkers and commit pettyoffences to meet day-to-day requirements of money, policeclaimed. Dinesh is married and has a daughter while Dharam isunmarried.
