Web designer thrashed; robbed of cash, mobile
New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Four unidentified motorcyclistswaylaid a 35-year-old web designer in west Delhi and decampedwith cash and his mobile phone after beating him up, policesaid today.
The incident took place in Uttam Nagar last night whenRajesh Aggarwal was returning home after work, a senior policeofficial said.
"He was waylaid by four men. They tried to snatch moneyand his mobile phone," the official said, adding when heresisted, they beat him up with iron rods.
They took away Rs 1,500 cash and his mobile phone andthen fled the spot.
A case has been registered and further investigationsare on.
