Rs 1.85 lakh snatched from factory owner
New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Two unidentified men todaywaylaid a factory owner and snatched Rs 1.85 lakh from himwhile he was coming out of a bank in the national capital,police said.
The incident took place in Vikaspuri at around 3:30 pmand the victim has been identified as Prem Narayan, who owns aunit manufacturing trays.
"He came out of an HDFC Bank and rode his motorcycletowards his home. When he reached barely 100 metres, anothermotorcycle hit him and he fell down.
"The other motorcyclist snatched the cash bag and fledthe spot," a senior police official said.
Police said they were investigating the matter andsuspect that the robber knew about the movements of Narayan.
A case has been registered.
