Recall AP Governor, says Dattatreya

Guntur, Jan 14 (PTI) Senior BJP leader and former UnionMinister B Dattatreya today said that the Centre should recallAndhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimham as he was "playingthe role of a Chief Minister" by trying to save the stategovernment.

"The Governor had parleys with actor Chiranjeevi''s PrajaRajyam Party and with Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM)(leaders) to ward off political crises caused by the Jaganfactor and save the N Kiran Kumar Reddy government,"Dattatreya told reporters here.

"He is playing the role of a Chief Minister which is notenvisaged in the Indian constitution," he said.

Lashing out at the state Congress, Dattatreya said theparty was so occupied with its internal crisis that issueslike price-rise and woes of rain-hit farmers had taken abackseat for it.
