Vajpayee lauds Dhumal for achievements in past 3yrs

Dharamsala, Jan 13 (PTI) BJP stalwart and former PrimeMinister Atal Behari Vajpayee today congratulated HimachalChief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on successful completion ofthree years in office and lauded the achievements of the stategovernment.

In his letter to Dhumal, Vajpayee said he wasemotionally attached to the people of Himachal Pradesh, whichhe considered his "second home".

"Undoubtedly, the state is poised to emerge as a rolemodel for rest of the country in many sectors," he said.

Expressing satisfaction over achievements of the BJPgovernment in the state, Vajpayee said it not only fulfilledthe promises made in the election manifesto but gone beyondthat to achieve distinctions on different fronts.
