Amar Singh accuses SP of carrying out attack on Rahul

New Delhi, Jan 13 (PTI) Expelled Samajwadi Party leaderAmar Singh today accused his former party of carrying out whathe called a "murderous attack" on Rahul Gandhi during theyoung Congress leader''s recent visit to Uttar Pradesh.

In his latest blog, Amar Singh has made apparentreferences to Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadavand his bete noire Azam Khan and given vent to his ire againstthe two without naming them.

Amar Singh has accsued them and the party of using andthen discarding him when the purpose was served.

"Sometimes black balloons are hurled at the vehicle of apopular actress (Jaya Prada) of the country, and sometimes amurderous attack is made on Rahul Gandhi while he is goingsilently to the university complex for a lecture; this isundignified politics," Amar Singh wrote on his blog.

Activists of SP''s youth wing, protesting againstCongress-led UPA''s "failure" to restore students'' union inAllahabad University, had clambered up his car in a securitybreach on Monday.

Though making several accusations against Mulayam Singhon his blog, the former SP leader has not named him.

"If somebody stays loyal for 14 years he gets the statusof number 2 but declared a ''pimp and supplier'' when he opposesthe opposition to computers, English and tractors," Amar Singhsaid.

His reference is to the SP manifesto for the 2009 LokSabha polls which said the party was against the use ofcomputers, the English language and tractors for farming.

The former SP General Secretary also takes digs atMulayam Singh Yadav for associating with an MLA (apparentreference to Amar Mani Tripathi) who makes a woman pregnantand murders her when he changes parties to make him ChiefMinister.

He accuses Mulayam Singh of later calling the incident a"small incident".

"To save the slipping votebase and to return to thelimelight a former senior leader (reference to himself)becomes a middleman," Amar Singh alleged.
