RIICO to give high priority to development of industrial areas

Jaipur, Jan 13 (PTI) The Rajasthan State IndustrialDevelopment and Investment Corporation (RIICO), which hasdeveloped 321 industrial areas pan-Rajasthan, today asked itsunit heads to give high priority to development andmaintenance of industrial areas.

"Within a stipulated time frame, there should be propercleanliness of the industrial areas, along with leveling anddressing. The drainage system should be in order and dividerson the road should have appropriate arboriculture," Bhanawatsaid.

He also emphasised on proper guide maps in the areas,with appropriate signage for facilitating entrepreneurs.

Bhanawat also said that the State Government''s TribalDominant Areas Industrial promotion scheme 2009-10 should bepromoted proactively and there should be wide spread publicityof the scheme which is operational in Banswara, Dungarpur andSirohi districts.
