One killed in road accident

Raipur, Jan 13 (PTI) One person was killed and fourothers seriously injured when a speeding car ran over themhere, police said today.

The incident took place near Bombay market area lastnight when accused Yogesh Beriwal hit a 28-year-old manidentified as Bodhsingh, killing him on the spot, they said.

But Beriwal, who lost control over the wheels drove pastand rammed his car into four others at the Shastri Chowk,grieviously injuring them, police said.

The injured have been admitted to Bhimrao Ambedkarhospital here, they said.

The accused has been arrested, police added.
