Man found dead in east Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) An unidentified young man wastoday found dead under mysterious circumstances in east Delhiwith police suspecting that he died due to biting cold.

The body of the man in his mid-twenties was found nearChand cinema in Trilokpuri at around 7 am.

A senior police official said it appeared that he hadconsumed alcohol in large quantity and was unable to go home.

A bottle of alcohol was recovered from near his body.

"It appeared that he could not go to his residence andslept in the open and died due to cold," the official said.

He was rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur hospital where hewas declared brought dead.

"We are awaiting post mortem report to ascertain theexact cause of his death," the official said.
