Goods worth Rs 4.66 cr along between J&K and PoK

Poonch,(J&K) Jan 12 (PTI) Goods worth over Rs 4.66 crorewere traded through 50 trucks between Jammu and Kashmir andPakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) along the Line of Control(LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh Crossing point in Poonch districttoday, officials said.

As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade FacilitationCentre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to PoK today,they said, adding that these trucks carried bags ofcoconuts, red chillies and walnuts worth Rs 2,01,21,569.

From PoK, as many as 25 trucks carrying bags of almonds,walnuts, pista, dry grapes, dates and herbs came to this sideworth Rs 2,65,48,138.

Officials from both sides monitored the transportation ofthese goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during theday from 1200 hrs to 1230 hrs and 1630 hrs to 1700 hrs,respectively, they said.
