Doctor couple robbed in Bihar

Begusarai (Bihar), Jan 13 (PTI) Armed dacoits lootedRs four lakhs in cash and valuables from a doctor couple''shouse at Ashok Nagar in Nagar police station area in Bihar''sBegusarai district, a police officer said today.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinay Kumar said a groupof six armed dacoits stormed into the house of Shashi BhushanPrasad and Asha Bhushan late last night and tied their handsand legs before looting Rs two lakh cash and jewellery andother valuables.

The couple raised an alarm once the dacoits fled withthe booty, he said

Kumar said that he visited the house of the doctorcouple and verified the incident.
