Bright sunny day brings relief from cold in Bihar

Patna, Jan 13 (PTI) The sun shone brightly today bringingmuch relief to the people from the intense cold wave conditionthat gripped Bihar since the past fortnight.

The minimum temperature too witnessed a moderate increaseacross the state as the chill in the air appeared to subside.

Patna recorded a minimum temperature of four deg C,marginally up from yesterday''s 3.7 deg C, while Purnia saw aslight decline in the minimum temperature slightly at four degC as against 4.3 deg C yesterday, the Met said.

Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur recorded minimum temperature of5.2 deg C and 7.8 deg C, respectively.

Sabour block in Bhagalpur district was the coldest placein the state with a minimum temperature of 2.5 deg C.

The weather office forecast sunny weather condition forthe next two to three days.
