Bihar cop dies of cold

Kishanganj (Bihar), Jan 12 (PTI) A policesub-inspector died today apparently due to cold in Bihar''sKishanganj district.

Ajay Kumar went to sleep at the police clubaccomodation late last night after returning from patrol dutyand was found dead in his bed in the morning apparently due tocold, police said.

The deceased cop was a native of Gaya district and hadjoined police service in 1994, they said.

Meanwhile, the District Superintendent of PolicePankaj Raj has directed arrangement of bone fire in policestation premises for the cops.

An intense cold wave condition prevails in Bihar asbone-chilling icy winds continue to sweep across the state.
