Quack booked following death of girl in MP

Balaghat(MP), Jan 11 (PTI) A quack was booked inconnection with the death of a girl, to whom he gave aninjection last year, police said today.

A case has been registered against Indraneel Patleyesterday under section 304 a (causing death by negligence) ofIPC after a probe, police said.

Patle gave an injection to one Sunita Dhurve of Tikariavillage on August 2, 2010 after which the girl''s conditionturned critical and her legs swelled.

Sunita died on August 27, after which her family memberslodged a complaint with the police against Patle.

The police after investigation found out that Patledidn''t have a medical degree and practised illegally.
