Flowers exhibition attracts visitors in Jaipur
Jaipur, Dec 7 (ANI): Hundreds of visitors thronged to see over 200 varieties of Guldaudi flowers put on display in an ongoing exhibition in Jaipur.
Around 218 varieties of Guldaudi flowers were displayed in around 4000 pots which were categorised in 125 groups.
The organiser of the exhibition, Rajasthan University Garden, has earned Rs. 2, 00,000 with the sale of Guldaudi flowers.
"We have been organising this exhibition for the last 25 years and like every year this show is a memorable one for the people of Jaipur. Every year the demand of flowers keeps on increasing. Last year the varieties were less but this year we have displayed 218 varieties," said R K Yadav, Superintendent of Rajasthan University Garden.
"The exhibition is nice. We also have many kinds of Guldaudi flowers at our place, so we thought of buying some more flowers," said Sushma Aggarwal, a visitor.
The exhibition also displayed variety of flowers imported from Korea and Japan.
The three-day exhibition has been organised by Rajasthan University Garden with a motive to bring awareness about the flowers in the society. (ANI)
