Market ends on negative note; banking dips

The financial sector faced great loss in trades after the RBI governor asked banks to trim interest margins. SBI, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, PNB and HDFC Bank were on sellers radar.
At 5.30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,934.64 down by 46.67 points and NSE Nifty closed at 5,976.55 down by 15.70 points.
Realty and FMCG companies' shares along with TCS, Tata Motors, Jaiprakash Associates, Ranbaxy and Reliance Communications were also witnessed selling pressure.
Bharti Airtel, oil & gas, cement, select technology, auto, metal and capital goods companies' shares buying limited the loss.

Market continues on flat note; 5950 level
Trading continued on a flat note maintaining its downward trend. Nifty closed at a dismal 5950 points.
Most active in trading was Reliance.
At 2.30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,942.68 and was down by 38.63 points and NSE Nifty closed at 5,967.65, down by 24.60 points.
The top gainers were - Sun Pharma, up by 1.43 percent, Sesa Goa that was up by 1.46 percent, HCL Tech up by 1.96 percent and Hindalco up by 2.44 percent.
The top losers were Axis Bank down by 4.13 percent, ICICI Bank down by 3.80 percent, DLF down by 3.11 percent and Kotak Mahindra down by 3.15 percent.

Market continues in red; below 6k
Nifty came down below 6k extending losses in trading. Where the Sensex dropped 100 points which was unexpected.
Most active in trading was Reliance.
At 12.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,859.49 down 121.82 points and NSE Nifty was 5,963.70 down 28.55 points.
The top gainers were Sun Pharma up 1.28 percent, Maruti Suzuki up 2.12 percent, Maruti Suzuki up 1.57 percent and Hindalco up 1.92 percent.
The top losers were Axis Bank down 4.64 percent, ICICI Bank down 3.45 percent, DLF down 3.39 percent and Jaiprakash Asso down 3.24 percent.

Market looming around 6000 level
The Benchmark Nifty found aimless in opening trade. The Index was looming around 6000 level and Sensex 20,000. The banks trade was found to move decline.
Trading in oil & gas exploration, metal, supported the market.
Bharti Airtel, Dr Reddy's Labs, Sun Pharma, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Hero Honda, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance Industries and ONGC were on buyers' radar.
At 10.00 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,951.89 down 29.42 points and NSE Nifty was 5,980.60 down 11.65 points.
The most active in trading was Tata Steel.
The top gainers were Bharti Airtel up 2.20 percent, Maruti Suzuki up 2.12 percent, Dr Reddys Labs up 1.52 percent and Hindalco up 1.47 percent.
The top losers were Axis Bank down 2.85 percent, ICICI Bank down 2.80 percent, SBI 1.91 percent and DLF down 1.62 percent.
