CBI arrests another CWG official, targets Kalmadi

CBI arrested M Jeychandren, sacked treasurer of Commonwealth Games Organising Committee, for his involvement in Queen's Baton Relay scam. CBI officials told that arrest was based on the ongoing investigation in the two cases registered by the CBI.
Jeychandren was part of the empowered committee that finalized the controversial deal with London-based AM Films. According to CBI officials, Jeychandren has involved in renting Mercedez cars for Queen's Baton Relay.
CBI will produce Darbari and Mohindroo, who are under CBI custody, and Jeychandren on Monday, Nov 22. It is expected that, CBI would question Games Organizing Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi after his return from China.
