2G Spectrum scam: Arrest Raja, demands BJP

New Delhi, Nov 21: After succeeding in to force former Telecom Minister A Raja to resign for his alleged role in 2G Spectrum scam, now BJP has demanded for Raja's arrest as he reportedly caused the country Rs 1.76 lakh crore.

The main Opposition party also demanded for a minute interrogation by the Prevention of Corruption Act on Raja.

Hitting out at the Prime Minister's "silence" on the issue so far, leaders of the party also stated, "It is curious that ministers and Congress leaders have suddenly come to the defence of the Prime Minister over the 2G scam."

"This sudden playing of Raag Darbari cannot hide one stark fact that it is a glaring case where he is patiently involved in the conspiracy of silence," they added.
