2G scam: Govt transfers Raja's secretary from DoT

New Delhi, Nov 20: Following the CAG report in 2G scam and TRAI's cancellation of mobile operator licenses, Congress has started cleaning the 2G mess by transferring former Union Telecom Minister A Raja's private secretary RK Chandolia from the Telecom Ministry.

A private television channel reported that Chandolia has been sent back to his parent cadre from Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on Saturday, Nov 20.

Chandolia, who was appointed by A Raja in DoT, is also under the 2G scam allegations as his office conducted discussions for the 2G spectrum allocation during 2008 and 2009.

Media reported that many more officers from DoT may face similar action that faced to close aide of A Raja.
