Markets gain power at ending; Sensex above 20K

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 20,309.69, up 152.80 points or 0.76 percent and the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 49.95 points or 0.82 percent to settle at 6,121.60. The Nifty futures closed at 13 points premium, as per provisional data.
SBI, Cipla, Mah and Mah, IDFC, who among the top gainers, were at 4.52 percent, 4.31 percent, 3.47 percent, 3.10 percent up respectively.
Rel Capital, Reliance Infra, Ambuja Cements, Ranbaxy Labs, who among the top losers, were at 3.32 percent, 2.16 percent, 2.05 percent, 1.88 percent down respectively.

Sensex trades at 20127 pts; banks, tech up
At 2:18 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20127, down 29 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty was at 6067, down 4 points.
Heavyweights like Reliance Industries, ONGC, L&T, NTPC and HDFC were on sellers' radar.
However, banking and technology companies' shares along with Bharti, M&M, Cipla, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma witnessed buying.
Cipla, HDFC Bank, SBI, who among the top gainers, were trading at 2.91 percent, 2.51 percent, 2.19 percent up respectively.
Reliance Capital, Reliance Infrastructure and Ambuja Cements, who among the top losers, were trading at 3.27 percent, 2.44 percent, 2.43 percent down respectively.

Nifty trades on close range; DLF, RCom down
Markets were trading in a narrow range due to lack of supportive cues from global peers. NSE Nifty was trading in a narrow range of 6050-6090.
Banking, technology, Bharti, M&M, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel and BHEL were on buyers radar.
Oil & gas exploration, cement and power, DLF, Tata Motors, Hindalco, L&T, Reliance Communications, HDFC, HUL and Ranbaxy Labs were witnessing selling pressure.
At 1.00 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20,226.59 up 69.70 points and NSE Nifty was 6,089.65 up 18.00 points.
The active in trading were Tata Steel, SBI, ICICI Bank and Reliance
The top gainers were Cipla up 3.22 percent, Sesa Goa up 2.50 percent, SBI up 2.38 percent and HDFC Bank up 2.18 percent.
The top losers were Reliance Capital down 3.09 percent, Reliance Com down 2.30 percent, Ambuja Cements down 2.21 percent and Ranbaxy Labs down 2.20 percent.

Market opens on -Ve note; Reliance, Ambuja down
The markets started trading on a negative note followed by the weak global cues. Indices were marginally in negative trend.
The shares of cement, realty, power and ADAG companies are witnessing selling pressure.
At 09.30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20117.45 down 45.63 points and NSE Nifty was 6057.30 down 14.35 points.
The active in trading were Tata Steel, SBI, ICICI Bank and Reliance Power
The top gainers were Power Grid Corp up 2.31 percent, ICICI Bank up 1.83 percent, Tata Steel up 1.59 percent and Bharati Airtel up 1.29 percent.
The top losers were Reliance Power down 2.75 percent, Rel Capital down 2.71 percent, Ambuja Cements down 2.21 percent and Jaiprakash Asso down 1.82 percent.
