Dell rolls out two 3G Android mobiles in India

New Delhi, Nov 10: US based computer manufacturer, Dell has entered to Indian handset market by launching two Android mobiles called XCD35 and XCD28.

These two mobiles are based on Google Android 2.1 operating system. Both mobiles are affordably priced for their high-end features. Dell XCD28 and XCD35 will be a close competitor for other brands like Nokia and Samsung.

Dell XCD35 has a 3.5-inch OLED, capacitive touchscreen and a 3 megapixel camera. The Android 2.1 OS is powered with 600Mhz processor. Other features include 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi.

This phone has a 150MB of internal memory which can be extended up to 32GB using microSD cards. It also provides FM radio and Music player that supports different formats. Dell XCD35 is priced at Rs 16,990 and will be available in the market by Dec 2010.

Another mobile launched by Dell is XCD28. It has a a 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen and 3.15MP camera. The Android 2.1 OS is powered with 600MHz processor, 256MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM.

The 3G ready XCD28 has Bluetooth and WiFi. This phone is priced at Rs 10,990 and will be available in the market immediately.
