Jodhpur: MiG 27 crashes; no casualties

Jodhpur, Nov 10: 15 minutes after took off from Jodhpur air base, a MiG-27 fighter plane of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday, Nov 10 crashed near the city in Rajasthan.

However, the pilot, Flight Lieutenant A Patni has been located and is safe, reported aircraft official.

"There is no report of any loss of life on the ground in the crash which took place in Mandawas village," BL Meena, Superintendent of Police of Pali district, which is near the crash site.

Police said there was no report of any loss of life or damage in the incident. Though IAF has ordered a court of inquiry into the mishap.
