Obama appreciates courage, humanity displayed during 26/11 in visitors' book
Mumbai, Nov.6 (ANI): United States President Barack Obama on Saturday expressed his country's solidarity with India against terrorism and appreciated the courage and humanity as displayed on November 26, 2008 by people at the Taj hotel.
In the visitors' book at the Taj hotel here, Barack Obama wrote: "We will always remember the attack of 26/11; not only the sorrow, but also the courage and humanity that was displayed that day. The United States stands in solidarity with all of Mumbai and all of India in working to eradicate the scourge of terrorism, and we affirm our lasting friendship with the Indian people."
The comments were signed by President Obama and his wife and U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama. (ANI)
