Obama's message at Taj: No mention of Pak's terror

Mumbai, Nov 6: Within an hour of landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, US President Barack Obama took off in a US helicopter and then reached the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel and paid his tributes to the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks. He does not any mention Pakistani terrorist.

He said that US and India stand together in the fight against global terror. The perpetrators of the 26/11 attacks should be punished. He also called the Hotel Taj, a major site of the 26/11 attacks, a symbol of the strength and resilience of the Indian people.

He continued to assert that India and US are working together on counter-terrorism measures.

Obama landed at the Mumbai airport at about 12:48 pm on Saturday, Nov 6 and was received by Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan along with Protocol Minister Suresh Shetty and Union Corporate and Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khursheed.
