LG reveals Optimus 7 powered by Windows Phone 7

New York, Oct 11: LG has unveiled it's latest smartphone LG Optimus 7 ahead of the launch of Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system on Monday Oct 11.

LG Optimus 7 has a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800X480 pixels resolution. The latest smartphone features a 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash, Panoramic Capture and 720p HD Video Recording. It runs on Windows Phone 7 OS.

The phone offers 16 GB internal memory and can be extended upto 32 GB using micro SD cards. The 3G ready phone also has Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS.

The outstanding high-end features include DLNA-based Play To, Voice-to-Text and Augmented Reality. All of these can be easily accessed through integrated Hubs or as Live Tiles on the homescreen.

Earlier on the day, Samsung also announced it's first Windows Phone 7 device, Samsung Omnia 7. The price and availability of the LG Optimus 7 in European market and rest of the world are not yet announced.
