Google Chrome disturbs Microsoft IE and Firefox
The rise of Chrome, which emerged in mid-2008, has also affected Mozilla Firefox, the second most popular desktop web browser. The growth of Mozilla Firefox has stayed at 30 percent after the arrival of Chrome.
According to the study Internet Explore has only less than 50 percent of worldwide web browser usage. It is the first time Internet Explorer's shares came down below 50 percent after its launch.
The intense competition in web browsing market paved way for the launch of updated versions of all popular internet browsers. Internet Explorer 9 was launched in Sep 2010 but still the growth rate remains stagnant.
