K'taka govt asks Centre to recall Governor
State BJP President K S Eswarappa warned that the Party would launch a stir against Bhardwaj if the Central Government did not recall him.
"The Governor is acting like a leader of the opposition. He is encouraging Congress and JDS. Ever since he assumed office of the Governor of the State, he has been trying to destabilise the BJP government," said Eswarappa, while addressing the media persons at a press conference here.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa also criticised Governor H R Bhardwaj's conduct saying the people of Karnataka did not expect such behaviour from him.
"People of the state had not expected such a behaviour by the Governor. Bhardwaj tried to exercise the powers vested with the Speaker," he said.
