CII to set up a green clean manufacturing center

New Delhi, Oct 11: CII, CMTI and Fraunhoffer Institute of Germany signed a new deal on Oct 11 to set up a Green and Clean Manufacturing Center of Excellence as a Public Private Partnership.

CII official assured that the new deal would definitely redefine the way the Indian industry, especially the SMEs have access to newer, clean and green technologies.

He also informed, "This will also be a first step in enabling the industry to leverage the extensive research and development infrastructure available with the government."

The official also claimed, "It is the Industry"s effort in making India a responsible global country by adopting clean and green manufacturing technologies."
