LeT militant killed in Sopore

Srinagar, Oct. 10 (ANI): A Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant was killed and his guide was arrested from Lathishot area of Sopore on Saturday night in a joint operation of Sopore Police and 22 Rashtriya Rifles.

The slain militant was later identified as Abu Kitaal of Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit. While the arrested guide has been identified as Shamus din Dangroo son of Mohammad Maqbool Dangroo resident of Marbal Bumai Sopore.

A large catche of arms and ammunition was recovered from the slain militant.

The area falls under the jurisdiction of Police station Sopore. (ANI)
