K'taka: BSY still away from the magic figure
With this, the situation is becoming more worse as BS Yeddyurappa, has left with just 24 hours (Oct 11) to prove the magic figure of 113 in the Assembly.
Now, JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy is clamming that the situation is under his control, as the rebel MLAs will vote against BJP, and all 14 dissident MLAs will support his party, including Independents.
Meanwhile, the BJP has released an audio clip of how JDS's HD Kumaraswamy was allegedly heard offering a cabinet berth to a BJP MLA, Appachchu Ranjan, if he defected to his party.
According to the sources close to JD(S) and Congress leaders told, talks between the two parties have concluded in a secret agreement that is likely to see leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah as the next chief minister, JD(S) leader HD Revanna as his deputy and the independent rebel MLAs given ministerial berth.
Excise Minister, Renukacharya, who took U-turn (shifted from the rebels band and joined again to the Yeddyurappa's loyal list) returned to Bangalore from Goa and expressed his support to BS Yeddyurappa.
Earlier, State Tourism Minister Janardhana Raddy and Goa BJP leader Manohar parrikam, tried hard to woo the rebels, but failed as 10 of the 11 rebels refused to return to the BJP fold.
