US CIA chief meets Chidambaram for CWG security

New Delhi, Oct 2: Concerned over security threats during Commonwealth Games in Delhi, the chief US' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has paid a visit to India to discuss security matters.

Reports said on Saturday, Oct 2 Leon Panetta met Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, the chief of Research and Analysis Wing AK Verma, Intelligence Bureau chief Rajiv Mathur, and US Ambassador Timothy J Roemer in New Delhi.

During the meeting they also discussed the security threats in the region and reported to have shared information extracted from Pakistani intelligence agencies.
