Plea to defer Ayodhya verdict filed in SC

Ramesh Chandra Tripathi filed his first petition in Allahabad High Court to defer the Ayodhya verdict, scheduled to be delivered on Friday, Sept 24, till the end of the Commonwealth Games. But the court rejected his plea along with other two pleas by saying that the verdict will be announced as scheduled before.
On Wednesday, Sep 22, Ramesh Chandra Tripathi filed fresh plea in Supreme Court saying that the verdict should be deferred till the end of the Commonwealth Games and the dispute referred to arbitration or conciliation process. The petition also describes that a large number of forces were needed to contain possible fallout as the verdict may result in communal tension, but the forces are busy in Delhi Commonwealth Games, Kashmir violence and Bihar elections.
