8-year-old kidnapped and murdered in AP

lakhs
as
ransom.
In a newspaper report, the father has been identified as Suresh, a driver on contract with the APSRTC.
The kidnappers were reportedly eyeing the Rs 2 lakhs that Suresh received from an insurance company following the death of his younger brother in a road accident a few months ago.
According to the police, the kidnappers accidentally killed the boy when they tried to gag him to stop him from shouting immediately after he was picked up, reported The Hindu.
The police are currently suspecting the involvement of three persons known to the family of the boy.
