1 killed, 12 injured in Kashmir violence

Srinagar, Sep 18: One person was killed and at least 12 others were injured in clashes between security forces and protesters in south Kashmir town of Anantnag on Saturday, Sep 18.

The violence happened when curfew was lifted for 4-hours and protesters were carrying the body of a 10-year-old for the funeral during the wee hours.

Meanwhile in Srinagar, a person injured in clashes at Bemina has succumbed to his injuries, taking the number of people killed in the Valley to 98 in the last three months.
